In Excel XP: In step 3 of 3 PivotTable & Pivot Chart Wizard layout only the diagram appears without field buttons, diagram headings and field list.
Create a new range of data in a new workbook and test the Pivot Tabl function there. If it works, there's something wrong with you original workbook. If it still doesn't work, re-install Excel. Sometimes the least time-consuming problem-solvin is eliminating the possible causes
